From October 16 to 19, 2023, the 2023 Zhejiang Service Trade (France) at MIPCOM sponsored by the Department of Commerce of Zhejiang Province was successfully held in the Palais des Festivals de Cannes, France.

This exhibition was held based on MIPCOM. As a major global film and television event, many exhibitors take advantage of this platform to meet the market’s needs for the design, cooperation, purchase, sales, financing and distribution of entertainment products. The exhibition gathered leading companies in film and television, digital media, advertising design, brand design and other industries, focused on the global cultural creativity and content industry, and built a professional platform with inclusiveness and diversity. The exhibition attracted about 330 exhibitors from around the world and buyers from more than 100 countries and regions, including Hollywood, France TV, Warner Brothers Pictures, the famous American media group NBC Universal, BBC, Disney, KOCCA and other well-known international film and television organizations.

The exhibition focused on the organization of brand enterprises in the film and television cultural service industry in Zhejiang Province, displayed the development of the film and television service trade and industry in our province in an all-round and multi-angle manner, promoted the brand of “Service of Zhejiang, Serve the World”, and expanded global visibility and influence. This year, China was the guest of honor, which provided a better display platform for Chinese enterprises.

In the afternoon of October 16, the film and television promotion conference was successfully held. Zhuang Jin, Director of the Service Trade Office of the Department of Commerce of Zhejiang Province, gave a speech, to introduce Zhejiang, export of Zhejiang film and television culture and the Second Global Digital Trade Fair, fully publicize the development results of Zhejiang film and television culture industry, and also precisely promoted the Second Global digital Trade Fair, and actively invited all parties to further deepen cooperation.

At the exhibition site, 11 Zhejiang enterprises displayed many of the latest film and television works, where Huace Film and Television brought the latest TV play Flight to You, Our Ten Years, etc., Zoland Animation brought the latest season of the original animations Magic Eye is Back and Rubi Yoyo, Versatile brought the whole process solution of virtual production, and Megamedia brought professional film and television products and a cross-border trading platform of related derivatives. The enterprises generally felt that Chinese film and television works used to be considered low-end by foreigners, but after years of development, their cognition had been completely subverted, and the Chinese film and television had risen. Most enterprises said that they need to continuously participate in exhibitions and establish sticky exchanges with customers to stabilize old customers, seize new customers, and get orders.

The exhibition was divided into National Cultural Export Base – International Cooperation Zone of China (Zhejiang) Film and Television Industry, the provincial cultural export base and other platforms, which made full use of the world’s well-known film and television cultural exhibition resources, gathered high-quality resources in the industry, provided channels for Zhejiang film and television enterprises to explore the market, encouraged Zhejiang film and television institutions to go to the international stage, and constantly promoted film and television products and services to go out, to enhance the global influence of Zhejiang film and television industry.
