With the national security interests of the U.S. government at risk, the fulfillment of their mission is essential; however, there is a problem back home. Someone has betrayed them. Their mission has been compromised and their team has been wiped out, leaving the two of them alone. Since Guevara is being “unofficially” supported by the Russian government and has access to a sizable force of Russian commandos, it will not be an easy task and it is the type of mission that is likely to result in a very permanent post for the two of them: six feet under. Left for Dead is an explosive thriller with bullets flying from beginning to end. As the two risk their lives to continue their mission and to exact some punishment, they demonstrate the skills of adaptation, escape and evasion, survival, and hardcore combat which are developed to their fullest extent by two marines who are fighting for their lives. The plot is a page-turner with plenty of action and suspense to keep the reader on edge. The development of the characters, both the good-guys and the bad-guys is very well done and all are very realistic. Explosive action from beginning to end, and suspenseful and edgy reading throughout make this book an essential addition to the library of the die-hard military thriller connoisseur.”
